Every country has their own unique way of handling travel visas, and it’s not difficult to get turned away at a border crossing if your country doesn’t have a “special” passport stamp. This can be an especially bad situation when you’re trying to enter the country without any prior planning. I’m here to help with a quick solution that you won’t find anywhere else: Transit Visa for Turkey
What is a Schegen Visa?
If you are a citizen of a country that is not a Schengen member, or if you do not have a valid passport, you will need to obtain a transit visa before traveling to Turkey. A transit visa allows you to travel through the country and leave once your destination is reached.
To apply for a transit visa, you will need to visit an embassy or consulate in your home country. You will need to provide your passport information and any other information requested by the embassy or consulate. You will also need to pay the fee associated with the visa application.
Once you have obtained your transit visa, you can travel to Turkey and commence your journey. Remember that once you have entered Turkey, you will no longer be allowed to leave without first obtaining a new transit visa from the Turkish government.
What is the process of obtaining a Schegen Visa?
Schegen Visa is a transit visa which can be obtained by nationals of Turkey if they are travelling through another country and wish to continue their journey to Turkey without having to obtain a new visa. The process of obtaining a Schegen visa is relatively simple, and can be done at either the Turkish embassy or consulate in your home country.
First, make sure that you have all of the required documents with you when you visit the embassy or consulate. These documents will generally include your passport, a valid ticket out of your home country, and proof of your onward travel. Next, visit the visa section of the embassy or consulate and fill out an application form. You will need to provide your full name, date of birth, nationality, address in Turkey, and any other relevant information. You will also need to pay a fee for the visa application. Enter Turkey with Schenegen Visa
Once you have completed the application form and paid the fee, you will be given a receipt for your records. You should now return to your home country and leave for Turkey. When you arrive in Turkey, make sure that you carry this receipt with you as proof of your eligibility for the Schegen visa. Once you have arrived in Turkey and presented this receipt at the immigration checkpoint, you will be granted entry into Turkey without having to obtain a new visa

If you are traveling to Turkey and have a transit visa, make sure you also have a Schenegen visa. This is especially important if you are transiting through Istanbul or Ankara airports. Transit visas allow you to stay in the country for a maximum of 48 hours, but Schenegen visas allow for up to 90 days in the country.
